Getting Started: How To Use
1. Install and Activate
- Upload the plugin ZIP to WordPress or copy to your
wp-content/plugins/directory. - Activate via Plugins in your WordPress admin.
- Look for the FeedSync menu in the sidebar.
2. Connect Your XML Feed
- Go to FeedSync > Settings.
- Enter the URL of your REAXML/VaultRE-compliant XML feed (must be public, or upload manually if supported).
- Choose your sync interval (e.g., every 1 hour, 5 hours, or set a custom interval).
- Click Save Settings.
Tip: If the XML feed is valid and accessible, fields will be auto-detected for mapping.
3. Auto Field Mapping
- Switch to the Field Mapping tab.
- Ogizmo FeedSync Pro automatically suggests mappings for common fields (title, description, price, address, images, etc.).
- You’ll see pre-filled rows—review, edit, or delete as needed.
4. Manual Mapping (Advanced/Optional)
- To map additional or custom fields:
- Click + Add Mapping.
- Select the XML field and the corresponding WordPress field from the dropdowns.
- Choose the field type (e.g., Text, Number, Media, Concat, Array).
- Save your mappings.
5. Sync Your Listings
- On the Settings tab, click Sync Now to trigger a manual import, or let the plugin run automatically on your chosen schedule.
- Success and error messages will appear after each sync.
6. Display Listings on Your Site
- Use the shortcodes:
[ogizmo_properties]— shows your imported properties in a grid or list.[ogizmo_agents]— shows agent/office profiles.
- Paste these shortcodes into any page, post, or widget where you want the content to appear.
7. Custom Templates
- To override the default templates, copy the template files from
wp-content/plugins/ogizmo-feedsync/templates/to your theme and customize as needed.
